Across the leagues, Ascot and Oxford continued their excellent starts in the Premier League. Beaconsfield increased their lead in the North to four points after second placed Abingdon were beaten at home. In the South, Stoneham just about maintained their 100% record, the Magpies are flying high and only QK have yet to register a point.

City's Annie Northwood opened the scoring in the 14th minute, a lead that Flyers held until seven minutes after half-time. Eilidh Currie then equalised for Portchy. Flyers must have thought they had snatched all three points when Northwood scored again in the final minute of normal time. However, Portchester continued to battle and, in the second minute of time added on, Aimee Hall-Guy slotted home to secure a point.

Ascot United 1-0 Badshot Lea
The Baggies fell to their fourth straight defeat in all completions, in a scrappy game at the Racecourse. A blustery wind did not help the game as a spectacle and a single Claire Couzens goal, two minutes in the second-half, was enough to maintain Ascot's position at the head of the table.

Oxford City 5-1 Selsey
The Hoops had control for the majority of this game but only led by a solitary Lucy White strike at the break. Emma Donohoe made it two, but that was almost immediately reduced to a goal lead when Isabelle Wheatley struck from distance. Donohoe then put the hosts 3-1 up before two Kaitlyn Crouch goals rounded off a 5-star City performance. You can read the full match blog from BotP (Cock-A-Hoop Hoops)
Reading 2-3 Woodley United
Quite a feisty local derby at Arbor Park saw Mollie Haynes prod Woodley into an early lead. This was cancelled out by Zuzanna Gajzler. Reading then took the lead when a Mia Bradley corner was deflected in off a Woodley defender, giving the hosts a 2-1 half-time lead. United top scorer Sarah Lawrence then levelled it up again, then Reading hit the post, before new signing from Farnham, Chloe Melton, struck the winner in added time for Woodley. That was all with the visitors down to 10 after two yellows for Kate Hudson as well as a member of the coaching staff seeing red.

Sholing 0-0 Wycombe Wanderers
A good away point for the Chairgirls as they held unbeaten Sholing to a goalless draw. Both sides seemed to be happy with the point after a tight and very competitive match.
DIVISION ONE NORTH
It took a 23rd minute own goal to separate these two as Abingdon fell to their second defeat of the season, but remained second in the table. Mimi Hodges came close to levelling things up but was thwarted by one of several good saves from Penn goalkeeper Rebecca Tobin. Both Beth Hawtin for United and Penn's Henna Hussain spent time in the sin-bin during the game.

Kidlington Youth 5-2 Slough Town

Milton United 2-9 Beaconsfield Town
A second heavy league defeat for Milton at the hands of a rampant Rams side. On the plus side, goals from Summer Major in the first half and Mollie Dyer late on, at least doubled their goals for tally. Nicole Brown notched a hat-trick for Beaconsfield, Dominique Carrington grabbed a brace and there were further goals from Mia Thomson, Lucy Casey, Sarah Davern and Katie Riddington, as the Rams increased their lead at the top. Poppy Lloyd scored her second of the season for the Chairgirls, but two goals in seven minutes from Georgia Hayes took the points for the visitors.
DIVISION ONE SOUTH
QK remain bottom of the table after their third straight league reversal. Possibly more worrying is the fact that they have failed to score in any of those three games. On the plus side, they did manage to restrict Rangers to four goals, which is an improvement on recent results. The result was a little boost for Rangers who lost their entire coaching team on Saturday after all three stepped down. Isobel Saunders, Jessica Tripp, Amy Walsh and Annalise Scott-Green scored their goals.
AFC Varsity 1-1 Bournemouth Sports Reserves
A hard-earned first point of the season for Varsity in their opening home game. The game was goalless at the break and remained that way until the 74th minute, when both sides sprang into action. Fist half substitute Abi Lander put sports in front but credit to Varsity, who hit back within two minutes through Kayleigh Rogers.
Bursledon 0-1 AFC Stoneham
A tough one for newly-promoted Dons to take. After holding off the league-leaders for over 90 minutes, they went on to concede a gut-wrenching own-goal five minutes into added time. The Purps stay clear at the top and maintain their 100% record, but they were made to work for this one.
Fleet Town 5-0 Woking
After a scoreless first half, Fleet took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second period, making it two from two in the league for them. Isabella Moffett got the scoring started ten minutes after the break. Keira Simpson then added the first of her two just pas the hour. Six minutes later, India Mackie made it three. They don't come much bigger than this one. First versus second. Both unbeaten and only separated by goal difference. United won the corresponding fixture last season by 4-3 in a topsy-turvy game that flowed one way and then the other. Ascot have yet to concede at home.

Reading v AFC Portchester
It's been a tough start for Reading as they try to gel their completely revamped squad. Portchester, meanwhile, have adapted to Premier League life well, and are taking a 100% away record into this game. They are also yet to concede on the road after two games. Reading have been improving with each game and would have taken some confidence after progressing in the FA Cup at Brackley.
Arbour Park, Stoke Road, Slough SL2 5AY
Selsey v Woodley United
The Seals return to the coast after a harsh lesson from Oxford at the weekend. Selsey missed a couple of chances and were heavily punished by a City team that is flourishing so far. Venue: Selsey Women First
Winchester City Flyers v Sholing
Flyers picked up their first point of the season at the weekend, and were seconds away from taking all three points. The visit of unbeaten Sholing will be a pointer to how they are progressing. Last season, as Eastleigh, Sholing took at three points from a visit to Winchester with a 2-1 win. However, Flyers gained revenge by winning 1-0 in the reverse fixture.

They'll be buoyed by the knowledge that they won the corresponding fixture by eight goals to nil last season. However, this game was at a point where The Goats were at a particularly low ebb. Mapeldurham Recreation Ground, Upper Woodcote Road, Mapledurham, Reading RG4 7LD
Chesham United Development v Ascot United Reserves
After losing their opening match, Ascot have bounced back with two wins, scoring eight goals in the process. Chesham's start has been difficult to say the least. They are yet to gain a point after four games. However, they did the double over Ascot last season, winning 3-1 at home and 1-0 at The Racecourse Ground. So, at least recent history is on their side this weekend.
Chiltern Hills Academy, Chartridge Road, Chesham HP5 2RG

Division One South

Addlestone Moor, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 2QH
AFC Stoneham v Fleet Town
The two form teams in the Southern Division. Stoneham lead the way with a 100% record. Fleet, after their summer rebuild, have started the season in great style, scoring plenty of goals despite losing last season's top scorer in the off season. This has the potential to be game of the week. Last season Stoneham were way too strong for Fleet, winning 6-0 at home and 5-0 away. It doesn't look as if it will be that straight-forward this season.
Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh SO16 2PA
AFC Varsity v Bursledon
Whilst Varsity were picking up their first point of the season at home to Bournemouth, Bursledon were very unfortunate to concede an injury winner to leaders AFC Stoneham. Hatches Farm Sports Ground, Romsey Road, West Wellow, Romsey SO51 6EA
QK Southampton v Wimborne Town
The Magpies have steadily improved already and Sunday's 2-1 defeat of Havant saw them jump up the table into second spot. QK have had a difficult introduction to life in Division One, suffering some heavy defeats along the way. However, Sunday's defeat to Abbey was their lowest goals against in the league this season. A win for Wimborne, combined with Stoneham dropping points, could see the Magpies hit top spot.
The Hive, Redbridge Lane, Southampton SO16 0XN
Woking v Havant & Waterlooville
Neither of these teams has started their league campaign in the manner that many expected. The Hawks have already dropped points to two of the promoted teams.
