The FA Cup - 1st Qualifying Round
Obviously, at this stage of the competition there are still a lot of matters to be decided in the preliminary rounds. However, there are already some clear-cut matches and there are a few possible tasty encounters on the horizon.
FC United of Manchester face the possibility of playing Maine Road should the latter see off 1874 Northwich and Prescott Cables.
Evesham United, should they defeat Kidsgrove Athletic have a nice looking local derby with Redditch United awaiting them
Possibly my favourite possibility is Dudley Town (should they get past Bolehall Swifts and Market Drayton Town) v Stourbridge. My home town versus my team.
Hereford United, former famous giant killers themselves, face a trip to Ellistown & Ibstock United, Studley or Kirby Muxloe
Newly promoted Dunstable Town take on last season Calor League beaten play-off finalists Chesham United

The FA Trophy - 1st Qualifying Round
The standout game could well be Merthyr Town (if they beat Taunton Town first) against newly promoted Cirencester Town. These two battled it out at the top of the Calor Division 1 South & West last season and I am sure they would like to face each other again.
My former local team, Burgess Hill Town, have an opportunity to pit their wits against Chesham United should they get past Aveley in the preliminary round.
Newly promoted Northern League Premier side Ramsbottom United get an early chance to pit their wits against Whitby Town of the same division.

The FA Vase - 1st & 2nd Qualifying Rounds
In the Vase, possibly the biggest name is Vauxhall Motors. They take on Rochdale Town in the first qualifying round. Should they get through that a trip to North Lincolnshire's Bottesford Town awaits.
My personal favourite possible tie is the wonderfully names West Allotment Celtic who, should they beat Eccleshill United, would get to take on former league club Nelson.
Hillingdon Borough get the honour of playing at Wembley (although not at the stadium) when they take on Wembley FC who's claim to fame is that the national team used their ground for training during the 1966 World Cup.
